I'd hope that the young'uns coming up through the ranks under your supervision would pick up your interpretational skills and base their in the field decisions with a bit of "now how would the Captain handle this one" .

The regulation needs clarification , for both the hunter and the Encon Officer IMO .
The way it's written now I'd challenge the violation if I was written up , and I think it would be dropped by the court .
It would still be a PITA though .
