The language of the regulation was also changed so that it now reads no longer than a .22lr or heavier than 20 gr. The reason for that was to make the .17hmr legal for use. I don't know if anyone makes a pistol in that caliber yet, but if they do then you can see in the regulation where it will be allowed.
