Fingers crossed on Sunday Hunting for private land archery passing this year.

Crossbows are not legal in all areas for anyone during the standard bow season. Many states like Ohio Pa RI and Wyoming as well as many southern states all bows are legal durring bow season.

Your comment about a poachers dream is way off base. You sound like someone from the old days that fought to have compound bows illegal when everyone used recurves. Have you ever hunted with a crossbow? There are enough anti hunters out there already and you should support all hunting. Do you support PETA?

Agreed This is the exact same argument traditional guys used against compound guys. Frankly - a poachers gonna poach whether he has a compound or a crossbow. I can't wait until they post that its definitely a go - I'll be at Cabelas seeing if I can convince dusty to sell me the xbow for 800 bucks instead of 1100 since all the other dealers are offering it for 800 !!!
