I'm appalled that anyone would ignore someone asking for help. If just to make a simple phone call. I'm glad to see some people helped but sux that "several members of public" would not help. PITIFUL. I recall a police officer telling me that the only thing about his job that sort of sux is it can be very thankless. Well I'll be the first to say I have no problem thanking, waving, and helping anyone involved in public safety. We see to much in the papers where the minority of public safety screw up but not enough of the majority where someone was glad they showed up. Encon/all public safety....THANK YOU...and be safe.
