These are the same people against Sunday hunting. Just amazing sometimes. I used to for years hunt private land next to Salmon river state land. All the deer would pile into the swamp on private and the hunters would follow. One opening morning three of us got bucks at the crack of dawn and the warden was under my stand by 6:30 in full orange with gun. Wanted us at truck in 1/2 hr. The last guy out says he saw someone standing over my buck. 8pt. Warden saw me tag it. We walked back in and the guy has got it gutted and tagged dragging it on state land. He argues like hell it is his deer until I opened the mouth and showed him my tag. Should have seen his face when he got his gun taken from him and a list of tickets. Next year it happen again. We called the warden and same one came. Took that buck out of the guys truck in parking lot. That is why we used to pierce the tongue and stuff tag in. Lost a few on long drags.
