No, unfortunately they do not. They have no control whatsoever about what the courts do, they only make the arrest. Once it goes before the prosecutor/judge it's up to them not DEEP. I'd be willing to bet they are as frustrated as we are in cases like this.



DEEP Field Officers have got to be MUCH more frustrated than we are...IMO...and where my bet is. They do good work, and do what they can as a cog in the wheel, but then their efforts go wasted and they get slapped in the face in cases like these and MANY others....it's a shame.
