Buck Yes they stocked tigers in Muscoot for many years but discontinued it about 10 years ago. Jack Stewart claimed that a 30lber was caught there. As mentioned they have been stocking the tigers in New Croton, 5000 a year for the past 6 years. They will only continue stocking if they get feedback that the fish are thriving and people are catching them. From talking to Jack Stewart and Ron Pierce (The local DEC guy)the most likely place to catch fish is the nothern part of this very long body of water. I agree with them as there is a large spillway there which should attract baitfish. Also there are some great deep weed edges, rocky points and small secluded bays that are classic musky/pike holding areas. Since 9/11 there has no boats been allow on New Croton but I heard rumors that they are reopening it in April. Lets hope so.
