Anybody ever fish this place? I just rented a cabin there and don't know a thing about this lake.

Awesome smallmouth bite early in the morning, then it turns back on just at dusk. always like to head over by the dam where the water moves a little bit, be careful of the volkswagon size boulders seem to come up out of nowhere. Catch em up. Chris

I fished it years ago and will second what hook-n-up said. The current near the dam can be real good at times.

My son had a cabin there for a couple years and the small mouth fishing was good. If you have a place to catch craw fish and bring them with you you will really catch them. Fish humps and drop offs and around those big boulders.

If there are fish to catch. I'll be there to my end.

A couple of years ago we rented a cottage at that lake.It was right on the water and it had a private dock for our boat. One of our better vacations.Beautiful area. You will enjoy it there.Unfortunately the fishing was very tough.Threw everything but the kitchen sink at the fish with poor results.(Even tried helmagranites). Hopefully you will have better luck.
