Any connection with Bridgeport?

For the past 2 months now I've been seeing Bridgeport Police and Park Police checking saltwater fishermen for their license. I've also heard reports of many people getting busted for not having a saltwater license and not following regulations. Does the DEP Law Enforcement have any connection with the Bridgeport Police and the City of Bridgeport?

If they do they should go over to the other side of black rock harbor to port 5 and write these out of state clowns a ticket for using the boat launch ,they seem more concerned about someone catching a 8inch porgy with a handline or writing someone a ticket without a licensce who uses a spoon baited with a piece of hot dog that has no chance of catching even a crab.??????? sOMETIMES i DONT GET IT.
