today i tried to have a pair of of-age students purchase a 1 day inland fishing license for a trip we have planned tomorrow, but found the website to no longer, if ever, offer a single day license.
these kids have never fished at 17 years of age. i wanted to show them the wonders of the striper season tomorrow, but would like to avoid the ticket and confiscation of gear that goes along with it. a 1 da marine license would have been 5 bux, but i dont believe these kids should be spending 35 dollars for what would be the only day they fished.
figured id post for future reference on the website, thereis currently no 1 day pass available to anglers in CT.

No, unfortunately only the 3 day is offered for non-residents.
If the students are state residents there is a 1 day still available online. If you logged in to the system under your name and you already have a license then that choice would be greyed out. They would need to create a new user and log in under their own name to buy the 1 day license.
