gonna be building a PREBAN AR15..6,8 OR 308...NOT SURE YET.BUT MY QUESTION IS...CAN I DEER IT WITH A supresser in ct..on the gun.dont think im nuts.lol.just got some spots id like to try to keep the gun shot noise to a minimum if possable.....:)
If you are building a pre-ban versus post-ban you will be just wasting your money and commiting a felony. That is unless you aready have a pre ban permit, but then why would you modify what you have. http://www.cga.ct.gov/2009/pub/Chap943.htm#Sec53-202c.htm
YUR correct on the surpresser....bummer.but are you saying i cant build a preban AR15..unless iv got the permit already....dont think thts correct tho....it only names colt and bushmaster..um trust me iv been doing my home work ..got mostly correct and legal answers from those who know what can and cant be done..not gonna just build a preban cause i want too ...yes ya do need certian regestraion on them and pay cash but yes it can and will be done....:)
You can build up, own and buy prebans, except for those firearms which have been banned in CT by name.
You can't hunt with a silencer/suppressor. If you want to reduce noise, go with a bolt action 300 whisper or something.
Go see the guys at JoJos n Southington. Great guys and fully knowledgeable in class 3 and NFA stuff as well as AR's and firearms in general. I got my silencer through them and they explained everything and made it simple!
