Boat is a 2009 Pelican “Scorpio” and has a modified “V” double hull It is 10 feet 3 inches long with a beam of 61 inches wide with a carrying Capacity of 520 lbs; Rated up to a 7 HP motor. It only weights 109 lbs. This boat has never been in the water. Bought it to fish the Niantic River (instead of firing up the Grady) but never did. It’s been sitting in the back yard for almost 2 years. It has a built-in motor mount and 2 vertical rod holders; oarlock receptacles and front & rear mooring cleats and 2 beverage holders. Comes with a new (still in the box) mooring/winter cover. I have all the original paperwork from Boaters’ World.
The motor is a 1991, 4 HP Evinrude; hasn’t been used since last June. I used it on a 10 foot Zodiac to run up and down the river. It has VERY low hours on it. I don’t have the owners manual (let my brother use it for one summer and he misplaced the manual). It comes with a new 6 gal. plastic gas tank and one 3 gal. metal tank.
Hi Wallydog; It looks like Don P is going to buy the boat; so the motor is for sale. The motor is like brand new with very low hours. It has been started since last Spring so it might need a tune up, not sure. I'm asking $ 350 for it. I know it's worth a lot more than that but it's sitting in my shed and I really don't need it so I'm letting it go very reasonable.
