Question for you EnCon,

I know and strictly live by the rule about being at leat 250 away from an occupied dwelling when gunning waterfowl in the tidal zone. But, is there a similar rule on the books about legal gunning distance from your boat (or shore) to other anchored or moored boats (assuming safely gunning seaward and not directly at any vessels).

I don't remember ever seeing such a regulation but thought I'd check with you guys.

Thanks in advance for your advice/input.

The 250 foot rule does not apply to moored boats. Shooting towards a moored boat within range is a violation though.
