Is DEEP going to continue the walleye stocking program?. I certainly hope so because its a gamy fish that grows fast and big and is excellent tablefare.

Except that I'm sure a "NEW TAX" will be invented to warrant the program. (OOOPS.. maybe that will be the reason for the license fee increase.)

I haven't heard anything yet that the program is due to be cut. I know a couple months ago Plan B from the Governor's office shut down all the hatcheries, but I'm pretty sure that is no longer the case.
