Konolds i guess you can fish, ice fished once and got kicked off the ice by a cop. It was Real shallow from what i remember, has some largemouths but thats all i can tell you.
Reminds me of my younger years on Cheshire Res. I know now they probably knew who I was, but back then, I ran away thinking I beat them every time. The game changed though when I became an adult and realized I was going to get a little more grief if I got caught. Man, I miss fishing that place! 30 inch slime darts were an every day thing, huge largies, and 16 to 18 inch crappie!!!! I even caught a 4 plus pound catfish in there on a bass plug.

Re: Chum Bucket......There's too much gross #*&! in those picture threads; I can't look at them. Doing so scars my soul.
I have fished Konolds out of the kayak twice and caught several largemouths and pickerals on each trip. I think the bucket brigade hammers this pond from the only accessible shoreline spot... The pond is fairly shallow (max depth around 8 to 10 feet). The interesting thing is that there are signs warning that the taking of alewives are illigal, so I assume the alewives run up the west river into the pond to spawn.
