I am writing a paper for a class about Fishing and law, I was wondering what the source of the laws you cite is? I think I could use it in my paper. thanks Caleb Rose

The legislature writes the laws (statutes) and administrative agencies like DEEP write regulations pursuant to the laws.
Also keep in mind that it is a mix of federal and state jurisdiction.
