I believe law states when a new bridge is built over a wataerway a ramp must be built under it. I hope I am correct

Last year it was projected to be CLOSED for (7) SEVEN YEARS! No joke. Do not know if this has been updated.

Why can't we launch at Caswell any more ,especially with this ramp closed ,us small boats that want to just fish the river can't access anywhere now, Not Stratford, Shelton ,Milford, closest is Derby..WTF what a Kick in the Stones....Just sayin.

I believe you can still launch at Sunnyside in Shelton.

sunnyside requires a town permit(Shelton) which is cost-prohibitive for out of towners

Yep! I hear they are ticketing folks at Sunnyside without a permit.

Yep after April 1st you must have a town permit ,Just my point,if they close the only state access at this end of the river and you can't get in anywhere reasonably close without paying out of town fee's what are we to do , if I trailer to Derby then drive my boat to the Devon /Stratford area to fish ,then back to Derby and trailer back to Milford I'll probably get in about an hour of fishing time and there goes the fuel efficiency of having a small cratft..and forget about launching in Milford and trying to get around the Mouth of the Housey in a tin boat
I think they should have an addendum to the town fee's maybe only during this time the ramp is closed allow non residents launch passes at $40 - $50. per season

Anyone know the cost for non-residents at the Stratford launch?
