What else have people used for console doors, anchor locker door, Rod Locker trim, Console Seat, and such....

I would prefer to stick to WOOD vs Starboard as i feel i need a little contrast with all the CLOUD WHITE now.

Ipe?
Garapa?
Gumaru?

What else have you used? Do you oil it, varnish it, or leave it natural...

PICS PLEASE if you have them!

thanks

Chris

is there any reason you're staying away from teak?

There's a cabinet maker material shop in new London that has all different types of wood. I can't recall the name right now but my dad bought some teak there for his boat and it was like 1/3-1/2 the price of West Marine

ipe would work well, but is very heavy. If you apply oil every 2 or so years it looks reddish. If you don't apply apply oil it will bleach to a silver color.

I built my deck w ipe and it looks great

good luck
