I would love to hunt with a crossbow! If that became legal I would drop a grand a local shop to purchase one. As I get older I suck more and more with the bow! Tim

I agree, they day this passes I will be buying a crossbow. I won't stop hunting with my compound becuase I love it - but a crossbow would allow me to hunt so many spots that I'd love to hunt that I just can't hunt with a compound - not to mention getting more people in the woods is a good things.

Despite what the media and others would have you believe, there is no restriction on the number of rounds in a rifle for hunting. You can only use a centerfire rifle on private land and for deer it must be .243/6mm or larger. You can use a .223 for coyote on private land.

Thanks again for your clarification on these issues.

If I am reading this correctly, there is currently a 3 shell restriction for Shotguns on Private Land but not Rifles. Is that correct? I only thought the 3 shell restriction was for State Lands only.
