Registered: 05/04/01 Posts: 31979	CT DEEP Announces Temporary Closure of the Bantam Lake State Boat Launch for Marina Dock Installation and Upgrades The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) today announced that the Bantam Lake State Boat Launch in Morris will be closed from Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3, 2013 for installation of the marina docks and a new improved anchoring system. The launch is being closed for safety reasons since divers will be in the water installing the new anchoring system. Boaters may want to launch their boats at nearby launches: West Hill Pond, Barkhamsted Highland Lake, Winchester Winchester Lake in Winchester
