Is adding a float above the fly/lure considered adding additional weight? Since the only thing that will be below the water line is the fly/lure, my stance is that this would be okay. Please clarify. To me a float is 180 degrees opposite of a weight as it is preventing the line from sinking. This is one of those grey areas that don't often arise. Most of the questions have been related to weighted line. My initial reaction is to say yes, it's legal, but I'm still going to double check.
