Locals Officials have placed a steward on the banks of the Mill River to keep us updated on stocking happenings, local poaching and current DEEP progress. The steward will be spending nights in a North Face Tent on the side of the river, where deer, raccoons, song birds, wild turkeys and other wildlife can be seen. The steward, Nina Miller of Darien has generously volunteered to watch over the river, preventing poaching and updating local anglers of stocking progress.
