Are these still required in the state of CT? I have an old one, can still read the number, but just barely. How would I get a new one issued if required?

Thanks!

They are required and if you did your Class in CT it should now print out on your Fishing/Hunting licences. It is the large numbers at the bottom of your license.

Yes they are required. New ones are printed out the same as your hunting/fishing license. If you need a new one and you are on the licensing system, log in and you should be able to print out a new one.

My brother had a license 15yrs ago but lost it somewhere along the line - is there a way for him to look it up in the online system without the number?

I have a CPWO from 2005. It is a plastic card but is getting worn out from being in my wallet for 9 years. I have a conservation ID from my license but it is not linked with my personal watercraft/safe boating certificate. I just tried to reprint the pwc/sbc online but it says I cannot as I haven't taken the course. What am I doing wrong?

If you can't get at it on your own on the computer you may need to stop in one of our offices (Hartford, Harwinton, Marlborough, Old Lyme) and have them do it for you. They have more access to the system than the public.

This is what I did. Only took a few minutes.

Took my boaters course years ago and my certificate number wasn't on the bottom of my lic. for a long time. Made a call to deep and they took care of it right away on the phone. Great people in that agency.
