I've been hearing chatter that Crystal Lake in Ellington to going to be dropped from the 'Trophy Lake' criteria. Also been hearing that the state is or has been stocking walleye in Crystal. Any truth to the two items?

I was hoping that the DEP would chime in on this subject, but either they are trying to stay mum as long as possible before letting the cat out of the bag or there is NO truth to the subject at hand. Considering the number of people that have viewed this subject without commenting makes me nervous that there IS truth to the matter.

Didn't see anything in the rules changes package changing the "trophy lake" criteria for Crystal Lake. Also nothing in the quarterly report showing a stocking of eyes in the lake.
