Are there any plans for the DEEP to put in a state launch at East Twin? We hope so. Its just not right that we have to pay a 15.00 fee to launch our boats every time we fish there, when we are already funding the state fish that are managed and stocked there. Then Ohare reaps a return on the fishermen that launch and fish there. Just inquiring officer, if you have heard anything on this issue.

I hope they don't. Pay the 20 and enjoy excellent kokanee and trout fishing.......and the privacy. It keeps the scurge away.
Open a state ramp and it will instantly become a toilet. You complain about not having a state ramp? Go ahead and put one in. Then you'll complain that the parking lot isn't big enough for all of the "tuners" and the influx of people from the city. Be careful what you wish for. Dan Malloy wants to broaden inner-city gang-bangers horizons by introducing them to kokanee fishing.
No free public access keeps the place nice and tidy.
Yes but a private business should not be making money off a situation like this.
Why? They have something you want that he pays the upkeep for.
This common business in all facets of life but especially for hunting and fishing. Trespass fees to private land owners just to cross their land to access state property are commonplace.
I think the point about what would happen if there was suddenly a ramp is a good one.
Has anyone ever stopped to ask the owner if he would consider a season pass?
