Thank you to whoever is responsible for the new signs at the West Hill parking lot. I hope they help the parking situation.

I had recently met with the boating division personnel who are in charge of all the boat ramps in the state, the Barkhamsted First Selectman and the owner of the store in hopes to resolve the parking issues at the West Hill Ramp. The State is working on plans to improve the flow of the lot and hopes to put a handicap parking area above the ramp and pave that area. The owner of the store is looking to clear out the rear of the property to allow for parking for patrons. Hopefully this will resolve the problems there.
