I have been enjoying some great action,(therapy), on hard fighting smallmouth in the Connecticut river since Friday. I also caught several fall fish and a monster carp that I thought was a huge striper after its initial screaming run. It was an epic battle on my light gear for sure, and to catch it in the mouth was cool.
Here’s a sampling of the fish. Go get em!

Very nice, an interesting day for sure!!!

The fish in the last pic wasn't a "Fall Fish"... It was the elusive New England Freshwater MIniature Tarpon??? laugh

I should've been here yesterday?
I was...
And I didn't catch anything then either!!!

Catching fish like that is a very good therapy, a short release from life problems, keep at it.

Great smallies Jon. That carp must have given you a battle.

If there are fish to catch. I'll be there to my end.
