Yes usually a lot of freshwater diehard in attendance, and some salt guys who are willing to give up some Blackfishing.
Again I’ll try to at least get to the picnic after my Blackfishing, or if bad weather in LIS I would hop on a boat if anyone has room, or drop one of my kayaks in to fish it.
There’s def still time for people to sign up for this great and longest running CTF event! I added the date to the subject line.

Inso facto I cannot attend unless strapped down like Hannibal Lector. Or as the orange man would say "The Late Great Hannibal Lector"
Will be blackfishing on my new Grady White 272 sailfish eating carrots drinking water.
I'm not fat, I'm fluffy!

Sadly, I don’t think I will be fishing Piketoberfest this year. My boat has been down since 7/5. I had a fuel delivery issue that turned out to be a chafed fuel line between the gas tank and water/fuel separator. I got that replaced and fired up the engine only to find another issue. When I put it gear, I got a heavy knocking sound and the engine shakes like there’s something wrong with the “transmission”. Since I got divorced last December, I was laid off from my job of 28 years back in January and was out of work for 6 months, I don’t quite have the money to put my boat in the shop for repairs. This will be the first Piketoberfest I have missed since I started fishing it in 2009 I believe. 🙁
