Mike just keep dreaming of opening day being abolished and keep hunting your trophy stocked fish! As far as contamination goes would you want marshmallows in your pond? and how is corn and marshmallows natural? Not saying I havent fished with them before cause I have I have caught some very Large breeders with corn and Marshmallows at Hamden Fish and Game! If you strictly catch and release that is great it is all the more fish that I can grill And as far as me having a problem with you..... This is a discussion website dude get over yourself!!! TRUST me if I had a problem with you I would be knocking on your door. I dont have a problem at all in fact I am enjoying this extremely
P.S. after April Im in the salt so I really could care less about trout, exept a couple of fly trips here and there in the evening

Mike, Do you really want to fight me over a fishing post? I can honestly say that I dont think you do! I do not lose!!!! Why dont you just calm down before you do something stupid and get yourself in a whole world of trouble!! As Far as being jealous, are you serious? If you really want to get into it you just let me know! I dont have a personal problem with you so dont start one, that is my one warning to you!

Personal issues are to be kept to PM's. Do not transfer over PM's to posts and continue it on a thread. Mike and mfcllc...you 2 HAVE to tone it down. I can see this going sour in the near future. Don't even try to tell me that there isn't any pissed-offness happening here either. Stick to the subject and keep personal issues strictly to PM's. Ditto - Speaking generally about this and other threads that "go sour" with bickering, the practice has a tendency to take away any of the good points made in a thread. Huge buzz-kill if you know what I mean.

all i wanna know is WTF does a private fish and game club have to do with the best intrest of CT anglers, and the trout fishery..
to me any skilled confident angler could careless about a "opening day" . who says you need a "opening day" to get together with friends for a spring trout fishing trip.. ???
i say start a kids weekend, and heavily stock trout parks just for the kids( thats what matters) that weekend. and never close the season.if you lack angling skill, opening day is for you.fill your freezer, go ahead. but when its time to fish for wild stream bred fish, and fish that are keyed in on natrual prey, in larger water situations. you might as well hang up your stringer and your license pinned to your camo hat and pick a new hobby .
MFCLL.. those are fighting words son.. you gonna bark all day little doggie, or you gonna bite... ?? when you start talking about going to peoples doorsteps, you cross the line. Try that at my house man, you best pack a lunch little man. the problem is you never know who your really talking to , till its to late. things can happen in the in the nw hills...
