I'm with you Bob. I lived in Mass for 20 years but NEVER missed the CT opening day. Sure it's great to fish early in the Deerfield and Westfield but nothing like opening day with my Dad and then my son's in Somers CT on the Scantic. A very nice tradition we always look forward to!
