I like the idea of having a closed season on bass during the spawn ,it would actually protect fish at a time they nedd protection

and than just think ,opening day would be for bass in the middle of June Perfect time for families to get out together because the weathter is so nice.

pluss bass are much harder to catch than farm raised trout and actually do reproduce naturally
