I just found this thread. Wish I was in it from the beginning. Lots of good taste in metal. Nothingface, Filth, and Scrape do it for me recently. Surprising though, all these posts and no Korn. Now there's some guys who stopped the booze and drugs and still crank it out.

Didn't hear about anyones trip to Iron Maiden. Although I would have timed my arrival for after Dio and left before Maiden. So I should be asking, how was Motorhead?

Has anyone noticed how much fish like Megadeath?

I arrived at my seats at about 7:40 and the roadies were already taking down the motorhead stuff. They couldn;t have played more than a half hour. Maiden was awesome, it was my first time hearing Dio and it was alright.

Fish love the megadeth, for some reason last year i listened to Rust In Peace pretty much every ride home from candlewood.

Since this thread is somehow still alive, I figured I'd chime in once again. I, like Mitch, have listened to the whole new Metallica CD (BURNED COPY of course).
The CD sounds NOTHING like Metallica, as we all know. Therefore, it sucks. NOW.. If this was put out as, say, James Hetfield's NEW BAND'S CD, it would be way more acceptable! It DOES sound a lot like stuff you hear on the radio these days..
Bottom line, because it bears the "Metallica" title, it needs to be "frisbee'd" against the nearest brick wall. Thank you!

Great album to resurrect this thread with \:\) A "must pick up".

I hope I don't regret that.

Judging from the sound byte I heard, this albumn can definately be placed under the "doesn't suck" category.

I've heard two tracks from the album on a metal radio show. One was average. Was one was pretty good. There are a lot of favorable reviews on Amazon.

Just started listening to some of my old music again...Nazareth "Snaz" get's me to work in the morning lately!

Ever sense I got Sirius Radio I gave up on BS "regular radio" with all the annoying friggin commercials and crappy wannabe music. Most modern bands simply sound like a bunch of angry young men screaming at life.

I have been listening to "Hair Nation" and "Buzzsaw" on Sirius, brings me back to the music I grew up with and got me listening to it again! It still sounds awesome and gets me cranked up!

Maybe I need to break out my old reel to reel tapes and albums! \:D

Speaking of metal, megadeth put out a new album a few months ago called "The System has Failed" I like it a lot. Got some very catch tunes. It is waaaay better than their last 2 studio albums.

Although besides Dave Mustaine, there are 3 other new guys. So i am regarding it as a dave mustaine solo album!!!!
