I have a young fisher in my yard near my young girls play set. Yesterday he would not chase off when I tried to. He circled around, climbed a tree, and grabbed a squirrel from the crotch of it, and scurried over to the pond to eat. This morning he was back and again hanging around the play set. This time he did run off, as he didn't yet have a squirrel stashed in a tree.
What are my options to get rid of him? I don't want to shoot it but don't want my 4 and 8 year old playing with it either. Can I air rifle him or crossbow him, or do I keep chasing him away. My concern is my girls. He doesn't get aggressive with me. If he has a female friend near by, this could be a different scenario. Please advise.
Thanks

Behold the fisherman. Mighty are his preparations. He arises early and full of hope. He fishes all day and returns late in the evening, smelling afoul, and the truth is not in him.
