Just thought I would add a little more. To me the "mistake rule" in Pennsylvania is a joke. They say if you accidentally shoot a doe
by "mistake" and explain your story to a CO he can fine you or charge $25.00 and you keep the deer. If you shoot a buck with only two points on a side you have to explain your "mistake" again. As far as I'm concerned it's all BS! In deer hunting there is no place for a "mistake". Either the deer was a doe or the buck did not have enough required points. It's black and white, plain and simple. Do away with the ridiculous law!
