I usually launch my 20 foot center console out of Niantic and I was wondering, what is the correct use of my VHF radio when it comes to going through the bridges?

I did a quick google but just turned up communications regarding other situations like emergencies and urgent situations, but nothing regarding the protocol for approaching and going through bridges.

For example am I required to call the bridge or just broadcast a general message that I am approching the bridge and the direction I am traveling?
