Assault leads to heroin possession arrest

On September 22nd, EnCon Police Officers Tim Hill, Ed Yescott, Keith Williams and Special Conservation Officer Robert Clark responded to Dennis Hill State Park in Norfolk to the report of an assault. The Victim stated that she was physically assaulted and that the Suspect left the park before Officers arrived. During the course of the investigation approximately 8 grams of a heroin like substance and packaging consistent with narcotics distribution was discovered in the possession of the assault victim. The female subject was placed under arrest for Illegal Possession of Heroin, Illegal Possession of Heroin with Intent to Sell / Distribute, and Illegal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent to Conceal and was transported to Troop L where she was processed and held on a $50,000.00 bond. Officers were able to identify the assailant and after hours searching multiple possible addresses the suspect was finally located in Torrington, CT. The subject was taken into custody with the assistance of the Torrington Police and was transported to the Torrington Police Department where he was charged with Breach of Peace, Assault 3rd degree, Conspiracy to Commit Illegal Possession of Heroin with Intent to Sell / Distribute, and Conspiracy to Commit Illegal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Intent to Conceal. The subject was held on a $100,000.00 bond.
