Huh??? Twins bass population is way down from where it was when the lake had milfoil. And, as to the alewife population in Twin, it is virtually gone.
With the CLA moving forward on stocking triploid grass carp and the Zebra mussels getting in, your likely to see an alewive crash there also. Lose the alewive and the smallie population will follow.
Fortunatly for us, it seems that the zebra mussels must have a minimum amount of calcium in the water to take hold and, not all are lakes are capable of sustaining them.
