tzs, I dont' think that is what he's saying at all. I think the multiple parcels is refering to someone who owns multiple parcels on the land map.

I hunt property where there are about 100 acres but technically on the land map it's divided into 3 different parcels of varying size.

No - the land must be one continuous piece of land (not bordering land, which is what you are describing in your example) that is at least 10 acres. If you want to give your father one of your acres to make his land 10 acres, then you get the free landowner permit.
