I snuck out for a few hours today in search of my first smallmouth of the season.
I caught 2 fish that went about 10 lbs LOL

The kittys fought hard and screamed my drag on the DS rod in that current.
Forgot my tube heads but the ball head got it done today.
Surprised to catch them in the rocky, fast current, but they were a lot of fun.

You must have thought you had the biggest Smallie in the River with those fish.
Looked like fun to me.

Great catch. Doesn't much matter as long as something pulls your string.

If there are fish to catch. I'll be there to my end.

Great pics getting them alongside the boat. I'm always afraid I'm gonna drop my phone (I mean camera) into the soup.

Jon you’re wadefishing right?

Do you keep your phone in a waterproof case?….or are you using a waterproof Go Pro or something?

I just bought a waterproof case for my iPhone 13Pro this winter after I dropped my 11Pro through an icefishing hole this past season.

I’m wading out in the river. I keep my phone in my tackle bag , (water proof soft side cooler). If I need it I pull it out and take the pics.
It’s a challenge in the current with the rod, The fish and the phone.
So far I’ve been lucky I guess….
