Can you explain to me how they got away with getting caught with 38 stripe bass and the case gets Nolle?

The same thing happened with Dave Hochman that was killing big bass in RI landing them in CT and then most likely running them up to Mass to sell commercially.

Easy.

This states fishery management and enforcement are poor.

I hate to ask but what is Nolle? I guess is that it got dismissed.

nolle prosequi - Latin for "we shall no longer prosecute," which is a declaration made to the judge by a prosecutor in a criminal case (or by a plaintiff in a civil lawsuit) either before or during trial, meaning the case against the defendant is being dropped.

"There is nothing--absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."

It may have been dropped (which makes me sick) but I think nollied also means you cannot get caught doing it again for a time frame or it comes back to haunt you. We should all just poach..... No one gives 2 chits

Maybe someone should ask the arresting officer what he/she thinks of the nolle.

Case was not prosecuted but can be reopened within 13 months if there are any new arrests. It becomes a dismissal after 13 months and one day.
