I can find many posts by encon back a long ways on this.. unless there is some new law?

The only rifles allowed on state land for small game hunting is .17hmr (rimfire) and .22 long rifle. .22 magnum is not allowed. The use of centerfire rifles is prohibited on state land. You can use also use muzzleloaders up to 36 caliber for small game.
Shotguns are limited to shot that is smaller/lighter than #2 shot.
