Well my 2 cents. The present commish is stocking every mud puddle from NW ct. to Bridgeport politically to give all a chance including inner city kids which is a plus to wean their interests into our great sport. The die is cast and thats whats happenin. However , Its my feeling that opening day should be eliminated and 1 weekend set aside for kids only so as to replace the mad scramble. Stock year round like Mass. Increase fees for trophy fish stocking so cormorants can't devour them. Dedicated trout funds untouchable by the general assembly. Our funds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
