I was in bed, just waking up when my mother in law called me freaking out about a plane hitting the World Trade Center. Knowing her, I didnt think an awful lot of it, maybe just some small little private plane clipped it or something.
Then I turned the TV on and saw things that were burned into my mind forever.
My wife got home and was watching with me when the second plane hit and we ,like everyone else, were..well, words like "enraged" and "horrified" just don't cover it.



Ever since that day, whenever I see our colors raised it makes my hair stand on end and my chest fill with pride.
