I also read that the 15-8 from Mass was the largets bass caught north of the Mason/Dixon line and I agree with Husky about the forage base. Just look at the California fish, it's the trout forage base of these lakes that has created the monstors, not the climate. with few holdover trout in CT lakes and no real major trout lake spawning where bass could gorge themselves on an annual eating spree, it ain't going to happen here.

Maybe if we dig a canal to the ocean for places like Moodus and Amos we too can get a herring run.
